Site: Farm portion in the middle of residential Weltevreden Park. Characterized by densely diverse vegetation and forest.

Brief: To design a commercial, retail and restaurant complex, which has little to no impact on the site’s existing natural assets.

Approach: A malleable portal frame structure, which can be manipulated on site, during construction, to accommodate existing trees. A “touching the earth lightly”approach with raised walkways, elevated decks and sky-ways.
